We are halfway! 20 weeks to go!

We had our 20 week ultrasound on Friday, and it was the most amazing thing we have ever seen. We were so impressed how clear we could see everything. They looked at every organ, bones, arteries of the heart, and ventricles of the brain, and more. We got to watch our baby move around like crazy for almost an hour. They made all kinds of measurements, and everything checked out perfectly. They estimated that the baby weighs about 11 ounces right now. We couldn't believe that all of the body systems are developed in something so small. The heart rate was 158, which is good.

When they asked if we wanted to know the sex, I was STRONG and said NO. When the ultrasound technician was looking at that part, I turned my head and almost cried! As hard as it was, the big surprise in April will be worth the wait (even though I know many of you want to know now). I love the anticipation and "old wives tales." Last night, someone asked Eric if I shave my legs more or less right now, because if its more, that means its a girl.

These are pictures of the baby's feet. The ultrasound tech, nurse, and midwife all commented that the baby has big feet ... that must come from Eric's size 13's.

Here is a picture of the baby's profile. Its arms/hands are resting on the chest. This was one of the only times the baby didn't have an arm above its head ... Eric thinks the baby is getting some of my Finlander traits and already sleeping with an arm above its head =)

This is probably the best picture of the baby, you can see its hand waving =)

This picture of the face is a little scary looking.

And here's what you are waiting for .... my belly is EXPLODING!
