Tis the Season

I love decorating the house for Christmas. I found this "believe" set on Black Friday at a cute little shop in Rochester. I added some of my snowmen and some white lights, and it turned out really cute on top of our entertainment center.
I didn't want to rearrange our furniture, so we ended up putting the tree at the top of the stairs again this year. The tree is a little big for this spot, but it will have to do. I just wish I had some more gifts to wrap to put under the tree.

I have made some more progress on getting rid of junk from the nursery. We can actually walk into the room now! I finally found a crib and dresser that I like, and it was on a great sale, so I ordered it! Of course, the dresser I chose is on back order, so it will probably be a couple weeks before we get it. I went and got a BUNCH of paint samples, but didn't really like any of them, so I will have to get my creative juices flowing so Eric can get starting on painting. It is hard to choose colors when I don't know the sex of the baby, but on the positive side we won't have to change the color IF we ever decide to have another baby.

Here is my 22 week belly picture. Eric has been begging to take this picture for several days, while I have been dreading it. This picture was taken in the morning, but in the evening I look a lot bigger. The last couple of weeks have been pretty exciting. Eric felt the baby move for the first time last Sunday. With every movment he feels, he claims the baby is "shooting hoops" and "driving the lane."
