25 Weeks and Nursery Update!

We have been pretty busy over the past few weeks. With the basketball season in full swing, it seems like Eric and I are rarely home at the same time. I have also been trying to pick up a few extra shifts at work while I am feeling good. We had our first big snowstorm, and got dumped on with about 14 inches of snow. I was so happy that Eric had a basketball game cancelled and a full day of school cancelled. I took advantage of his time off, and we got the nursery painted (Finally!).

It was already dark out by the time we starting painting, HGTV makes this stuff look WAY easier than it really is!!!

Even though we used low odor paint, Eric thought I should still wear a mask since we couldn't have the windows open.

The picture doesn't really capture the "true color" of the green ... its really a litte more limey! =)

Almost done for Day 1!

And the Finished Product!!! Again, the colors look different in real life ... The orange isn't so pink, and the green is more lime. The colors remind me of orange and lime sherbet!

I thought if I took pictures with more daylight, the colors would look brighter, but I guess its just our camera. You will have to come in see it to get the true feel! And yes, that is our crib and dresser in those big boxes. Can't wait to put everything together. But, we are hoping to get new carpet in January, so we'll have to wait for that.

And here is my 25 week belly =). I have popped! The baby probably weighs around 1.5 lbs, and already seems so strong. The little kicks are amazing! My next checkup is on New Years Eve, when I will get my Glucose Screening done and receive my Rhogam shot since my blood type is RH negative.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Everyone!
